2 days after that...

The forms are there! But, they aren't assembled yet. looks like our closing date is moved back to some time in March.


There's all the parts of the forms, all stacked up where they left 'em.


We know what our address will be.

now, they're waiting for the rain to stop so they can start pouring the concrete walls. it only sprinkled today and it's supposed to clear up this weekend and next week with maybe a couple of days of snow. hopefully it stays nice enough for more work to get done. we had our buyer/builder meeting yesterday and it looks like the house will not be done until march 2005. we were hoping for the end of february because that's when our lease is up on the apartment. we need to talk to the people in the office and see if they will allow us to stay another month even though our lease is up. hopefully, there's no one looking to move into our apartment right away.

Start of Construction!!!

Well, Start of digging the basement out so they can make the foundation.

Welcome to our BASEMENT!


We have the best hole in the ground in the world.


Because it's ours...

Here I am standing in the middle of our hole in the ground calling Mom and Dad to tell them that we have a hole in the ground.


I'm a happy guy! :-) We've got a hole in the ground!


Here is the view from where our front door will be. This park will never have homes built on it.
